Service Agreement & Retainer Terms (Nonrefundable)
Nonrefundable Retainer: A retainer is required to secure your date/project. This deposit covers opportunity cost, meaning once you commit, we reserve the time and may decline other opportunities.
Payment of Balance: The remaining balance is due in full prior to the completion of the project. Final cost will be based on actual materials, labor, and scope of work, not the initial estimate. If the project ends up costing less than estimated, you will only pay for what was actually incurred. If costs exceed the estimate due to additional requests or changes, I will communicate adjustments along the way.
Scope & Changes: Any additional requests, materials, or services beyond the original scope may affect the final balance.
Completion & Satisfaction: I commit to delivering services in good faith and with professional care. If, for reasons beyond my control, the project cannot be completed as planned, I will communicate promptly and issue a partial credit if appropriate. While I aim to meet your expectations, creative work is inherently subjective; I will work with you to achieve a satisfactory outcome, but the final product may vary from initial drafts or mockups.
Cancellation & Refunds: Because the retainer secures my time and resources, it is nonrefundable. Any cancellation by you after the deposit is made does not entitle you to a return of the retainer.
