Tented weddings are always a win in my book. This stunning reception took the look to another level without skimping on guest experience all. A cake at every seat? Yes, please.
I worked with Terrie, of Terrie Images, to create place cards, table numbers, menus, and invitations that would feel as sweet, soft, and luxurious as the rest of the day.
I made three different invitation sets with vellum, linen, wax seals, and pressed flowers.
All the day-of calligraphy used thick cardstock to make every piece feel as high quality as it looked. It also had the bonus of not being as easily carried away by the wind.
The table numbers were made with patterned blue and white fabric. The place cards were a plain cream fabric that just so happened to be a near match to the shade of cream on another patterned fabric. So, I just had to use that for the menus.
All of these pieces came together with the linens on the day-of so beautifully. That goes to show that the right team can put together something stunning and cohesive. And we were able to make it look amazing because all your day-of calligraphy does not have to be matchy-matchy.
So, let me know what stood out to you. After looking through the gallery, it's giving Great British Baking Show in the absolute best way. What do you think? Would you have been bold enough to play with that many colors and patterns? Look through and let me know in the comments.
